FIRST ENDURO PROVES POSITIVE
“It was an overall positive weekend for Aaron and I at the first Endurance event of the year. The No.10 Bendix Racing Camaro was straight on the pace from practice one, this carried all the way to qualifying where I was able to provisionally qualify in 5th position before doing the shootout and finishing 8th respectively”.
With no wet weather prior to Sunday's race, it was a large challenge for Aaron to start the car. He was able to bring the car back in great shape before handing it over to me. The remainder of the race consisted of a wet track that was drying which brought plenty of challenges. The No.10 was fantastic in the wet conditions reaching as high as 5th before unfortunately losing outright speed as the track dried up. We finished 12th on track before receiving a 15 second penalty.
