STRONG SIGNS OF PROGRESS FOR BATES IN DARWIN

Zach Bates leaves the 2026 betr Darwin Triple Crown with plenty of positives after showing strong pace throughout the weekend at Hidden Valley Raceway.

After gaining four positions to finish 16th in Friday's Race 17, Bates took another step forward on Saturday and Sunday by securing back-to-back Top Ten Shootout appearances. The rookie driver qualified ninth and tenth respectively before starting both races from inside the top ten, highlighting the speed and consistency of the #10 Bendix Racing Camaro.

While penalties in both races impacted the final results, Bates continued to show encouraging pace against some of the championship's most experienced competitors.

The weekend may not have delivered the race results the team was aiming for, but two Top Ten Shootout appearances at one of the toughest events on the Supercars calendar provide plenty of confidence moving forward.

Bates and the #10 Bendix Racing Camaro will now turn their focus to the NTI Townsville 500 as the Team looks to build on their strong qualifying form and continue their progress through the 2026 season.

Zach would like to thank his partners, supporters and fans for their continued support throughout the Darwin Triple Crown weekend.
